The Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC) Secretariat presents 25 webcasts as a portion of an online course created and intended for independent AACR2 Name Authority Cooperative Program (NACO) participants who are making the transition to RDA: Resource Description and Access for authority work. The course consists of filmed lectures, hands-on guided sessions, online exercises, and follow-up Q&A webinars, with a brief review period following the successful completion of the modules. Speaker Biography: Paul Frank is Cooperative Cataloging Specialist in the Library of Congress Cooperative Programs Section. He trains catalogers in name authority practices nationally and internationally and is actively working on the transition to RDA: Resource Description and Access.
Speaker Biography: Melanie Polutta is a Librarian Cataloger in the Library of Congress Acquisitions and Bibliographic Access directorate where she works with materials from Latin America and western Europe. She is an experienced Name Authority Cooperative Program (NACO) trainer.
